Danielle in bamboo

Our early years service for 0-5 year olds runs at The Yard EdinburghMonday to Thursday.

Our early years play team leader Danielle runs these sessions.

Every month, we run activities based around a theme such as nature, the outdoors, animals or going places.

For parents, this is an opportunity to relax and play with your children in a non-judgemental environment, surrounded by understanding staff and other parents with shared experiences.

Playing with parents, peers and our play team helps children learn to read social cues, the value of sharing and turn taking, and to develop their independence. Dynamic outdoor play is balanced with interactive musical sessions, arts and crafts, messy and sensory play.

These sessions are for The Yard members, accompanied by a parent or carer.

These sessions must be booked ahead. Please email [email protected].
