The Sunday Funday Coordinator will plan and manage the Sunday play sessions and support a team of skilled and dynamic play staff.

Leading an experienced team of committed passionate individuals, and welcoming over 100 families every week, you need to have previous experience supporting a customer facing team, and have a bright and dynamic outlook with excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise the Sunday Funday service
  • Be the primary point of contact internally and externally
  • Liaise with the front of house team processing payments, managing bookings and following strict health and safety procedures
  • Ensure suitable activities are designed and planned for different ages and abilities
  • To provide wider support to the expanding social enterprise function
  • Provide ongoing support to staff in achieving their personal development goals

Essential skills:

  • Experience managing a customer facing service to a high standard
  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Supervisory experience, leadership skills and team building
  • Proven creative flair
  • Excellent organisational skills and administration abilities
  • An understanding of the importance of PR and social media
  • IT literate including Office, Excel and Word

This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) which will require working every Sunday for 7.5 hours and a further 7.5 hours to be split over two days (flexible).
