Who we are Jobs Playworker - Dundee Playworker - Dundee The Yard has been running weekend family drop-in play services in Dundee since 2015. During that time, we have supported 160 disabled children and their families. Our service is now going from two to five days per week, and we are recruiting Playworkers to help us do it. Have you worked with children or young people in a play or youth work setting? Are you committed to the values of play and play work? Looking for an opportunity to support disabled children and young people? The purpose of this post is to work within a small team of passionate, committed playworkers to plan and deliver play sessions. Successful applicants will be expected to deliver inclusive social, recreational and adventure play, including a range of activities, such as arts and crafts, loose parts play, den building, etc. We are looking for someone who can initiate and support opportunities for disabled children and young people, which are innovative and engaging for the children and young people involved, and truly led by their interests and needs.
