We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Assistant to join our small but successful fundraising and communications team. This role will provide essential support for the team, and is a great opportunity for a graduate to get on the first step of the ladder of the charity sector. Job details Our new Fundraising Assistant will work closely with the Fundraising Manager (Trusts, Statutory & Lottery) and will be responsible for small trust applications, stewardship, research into potential donors and evaluation. This is an ideal role for a graduate who has either previous fundraising administration or charity volunteering experience, and who would like the opportunity to develop their skills and take on more fundraising responsibility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Researching, developing and writing fundraising applications to support existing and planned activity within the organisation, you will have an excellent eye for detail, as well as the ability to produce high quality written work. We are seeking someone who can work independently, as well as across different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of The Yard. The ability to research thoroughly and problem solve is an essential skill, as is making informed decisions where relevant.
