Alison Thomson has over 30 years in the hospitality sector working for a number of restaurants before launching her own outside catering company. In 2012, she founded Hanks Sandwich Bar in Edinburgh which she sold a couple of years ago. Over the last two years, she has enjoyed having some more time to herself (and her spices).

Alison is notoriously bad for following a recipe but for one night only she is prepared to share some of her secrets during this interactive cook-along.

On the menu, Alison will be showing us how to make vegetable samosa's with a chilli and yoghurt dip plus a couple of different healthy salads to go with them. 

To take part in this session, you will need access to a kitchen space and some basic utensils (frying pan, etc). You will also need to buy your own ingredients. We will share the ingredients list at least two weeks prior to the event and if there are any dietary requirements, we can suggest alternatives to the recipes.
