Yard was established in 1986 as a purpose built indoor and
outdoor play facility and adventure playground for children
and young people with additional support needs.
Playworkers
The team of professional playworkers and volunteers ensure
that the environment is always stimulating and full of choice.
They support and encourage children to utilise all aspects
of The Yard’s unique environment.
