Play Team Manager

The Yard Adventure Centre provides creative and adventurous play for children and young people with additional support needs. We operate an adventure playground in the heart of Edinburgh providing play opportunities for schools and families as well as a range of evening clubs and holiday schemes. We also work with local authorities across Scotland to provide outreach play and training and share best practice.

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead and develop our team of play workers, oversee the national training and outreach programmes and continue the development of our play services. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative person with a proven track record in play work or youth work in the context of additional support needs and at least 3 years experience at management level. A relevant professional qualification at SVQ level 4 or above is essential.

This is a full time post based in Edinburgh. Starting salary will usually be at the minimum of the scale but may be higher depending on experience.
